Liao Ran graduated from the University of Jena with an MA Degree, majoring in German as Foreign Language. Her main research areas included German didactics and cross-cultural communication. She gained domestic and international teaching experience in Montreal and Jena, and worked as assistant researcher for the language project L3-Task promoted by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission. She accumulated corporate work experience before joining SZTU and was responsible for Western European market development in Huawei Germany. As junior teacher, she aims to create a student-centered, practice-oriented and interest-inspired classroom atmosphere, which would motivate students not only to learn a foreign language, but also to get a better understanding of foreign culture.
